Jacques d’Amboise, his son Christopher, his daughter Charlotte, and his son-in-law Terence Mann celebrate, through song, dance, and reminiscences, their encounters over many years with the great choreographer, Jerome Robbins. The program will include rare film footage of major Robbins dances including “Afternoon of a Faun” with Jacques and Tanaquil LeClerq, “Peter Pan,” revived for Charlotte in Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, and performed to honor Mary Martin at the Kennedy Center, and “Fancy Free,” revived for Christopher and Mikhail Baryshnikov at New York City Ballet. The intimate program will also include the premiere of a short new work based on Yiddish songs Robbins would have heard as a child, sung by Charlotte and choreographed by Jacques.
